For doctors

Online scheduling for your medical practice

You state once when you see patients and SlotMed keeps your schedule open on its own, every day. Your patients book from a link — no phone calls, and no loading time slots one by one.

The schedule that expires quietly

Most booking systems ask the doctor to load their time slots. It works the first week. Then the practice gets busy, nobody logs back in, the loaded slots run out and the schedule sits empty — without the system telling anyone.

This isn't a hypothesis. It's what happened in the previous version of SlotMed: of the doctors who ever loaded a schedule, three out of four let it expire and never came back. Patients who arrived saw a profile without a single available date.

So the model changed. On SlotMed you don't load time slots: you declare working hours.

You state your weekly hours once

You mark which days you work and in which blocks — split shifts included, morning and afternoon with lunch in between — you choose how long a visit lasts and how many days ahead you want the schedule open.

From then on SlotMed projects that rule onto the calendar and re-projects it on its own: every time you open your dashboard, every time a patient opens your profile, and once a day from the server. Your schedule never reaches its last available day.

  • By default: Monday to Friday, 30-minute visits and 60 days of open schedule ahead.
  • Changing your hours never deletes a booked appointment or a day you blocked.
  • If you stop working Tuesdays, your already-booked Tuesdays still stand.

Weekly hoursSet once. The schedule renews itself and never expires.
Your booking linkShare it on WhatsApp and the patient books straight into your schedule.
Range blockingHolidays or a conference are two dates, not one tap per day.
Your public profilePhoto, price, address and insurers. You edit it yourself, without asking anyone.
Closing past appointmentsYou mark whether the patient showed up. It's for knowing what happened, not for freeing the slot.

What SlotMed does not do

SlotMed solves one thing: letting your patients book without calling you. It is not a practice management system, and it's worth knowing that before you start.

  • There are no medical records or patient charts.
  • There is no billing or online payment for the visit.
  • There is no video call: telehealth today is only a field on your profile telling patients you offer it.
  • We don't send automatic SMS or email reminders. On confirming, the patient downloads the appointment as a calendar file and their own phone reminds them.
  • There are no receptionist accounts or multiple users per practice.

If any of that is essential for your practice, SlotMed isn't enough for you today. We'd rather say so here.

How to start

You log in with your MINSA professional license number. No account to create and no password to invent: it's the same number you practise under.

  • You log in with your license number.
  • You mark your days and hours, and save.
  • You copy your link and send it to patients on WhatsApp.

Joining is free today. If that changes, you'll be told beforehand and nothing gets activated without your agreement.

Questions from doctors

How does a doctor log in to their dashboard?

With their professional license number. There's no other password to remember.

What does it cost the doctor?

Joining is free today. If that changes, you'll be told beforehand and nothing gets activated without your agreement.

Do I have to load my times one by one?

No. You state your weekly hours — the days you work and in which blocks, split shifts included — and SlotMed projects that rule onto the coming days. The schedule stays open on its own, without you logging back in.

What happens to my appointments if I stop working a weekday?

Appointments already booked on that day still stand. Changing your hours never deletes a booking or a block; it only stops offering new times. If you need to cancel a specific appointment, you cancel it from your dashboard.

How do I close the schedule for holidays?

With two dates. You block the whole range at once from the dashboard and those days stop being offered. What was already booked isn't touched.

Your schedule could be open this afternoon

You log in with your license number, mark your days, and you have a link to send your patients.
